| # 01 Essentials of Health Screening | Saturday - 8:30 am - 10:30 am This intensive class will teach you the proper way to initiate a health assessment with your client. You'll learn how to conduct a complete health screening and how to assess risk for heart disease. You'll also discover the proper way to assess BMI, how to take a blood pressure reading, how to screen for prescription medications, and how to obtain a physician's release.

Learn how to perform body composition testing and how to administer major strength, flexibility and cardiovascular tests. If you lack confidence in your testing skills, you need this awesome workshop!
| | # 03 Designing Core Strength Programs | Saturday - 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm A "core" program is more than a bunch of crunches! This timely course will teach you how to integrate training for the abs, back, hips and pelvis to increase your client's ability to stabilize their core. Discover the benefit of training for "stability before mobility."
| | # 04 Intro to the Stability Ball | Saturday - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm The stability ball (also called a physio-ball or Swiss ball) is the most versatile tool a fitness professional has. This practical program will teach you how to use the swiss ball for both upper and lower body strength training and core training too!
| | # 05 Understanding Program Progressions | Sunday - 8:30 am - 10:30 am Exercise progression takes center stage in this fast paced workshop. You'll discover how to design strength and cardio programs to safely and effectively progress your client at a pace that is appropriate for them. This program will teach you the art as well as the science of fitness training.
| | # 06 Essentials of Strength Training | Sunday - 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Do you know the difference between squatting with your toes in or out? Does grip position make a difference in a tricep press? Are behind the neck lat pulldowns really contraindicated? This fascinating program will teach you proper form and variations for over 3 dozen upper and lower body exercises.
| | # 07 Intro to Elastic Tubing | Sunday - 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm Discover the true versatility of elastic tubing! This class will teach you dozens of variations for upper body, lower body and core strengthening using elastic tubes and the assist strap.
| | # 08 Intro to Flexibility Training | Sunday - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm The science of flexibility training takes center stage in this interactive course. You'll discover safe, effective stretches for every major muscle and muscle group in the body, and learn how to use both active and passive stretching for your client's benefit.
